The
Faculty of Protestant Theology in Brussels is the only academic
institution in Belgium to offer education in both major languages
of the country, French and Flemish (Dutch), leading to the degrees
of Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Protestant Theology. Teaching
and research in the Faculty cover the various areas of Protestant
theology, contributing also to information and reflection about
the Church and to adult education.
In addition, the Faculty offers some Bachelor and Masters courses
in English. The doctoral programme can be followed entirely in
English and dissertations in English are by all means acceptable.
More information can be obtained from the Faculty office and from
the professor responsible for the subject in question.
The
Faculty has a small, practical library. The collection of Protestantism
in Belgium is especially noteworthy.
The
Faculty publishes a year book, Analecta bruxellensia, carrying
studies by Faculty mem-bers and alumni as well as guest authors,
written in French and Flemish (Dutch), but also in English and
German, and always provided with summaries in English. |
